'World Geography' is a major publication by the St. Petersburg-based 'Prosveshcheniye' publishing house, comprising fundamental works on geography and regional studies. The series includes works by F. Ratzel ('The Earth and Life', volumes I and II), F. Hahn ('Africa'), W. Sievers and W. Kükenthal ('Australia'), W. Sievers ('Asia', 'South and Central America'), and A. Philippson ('Europe').
