Mikhail Arkadyevich Suzdaltsev was a Soviet painter, Honored Artist of the RSFSR, and a recipient of the Stalin Prize (second degree). He graduated from the Odessa Art School and the Surikov Moscow State Academy Art Institute, where he studied under P. D. Pokarzhevsky, A. A. Osmyorkin, and G. M. Shegal. He lived and worked in Moscow. Since 1948, he was a regular participant in art exhibitions. His works are held in the collections of the Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, the Saratov and Sochi Art Museums, the Odessa Art Museum, as well as in private collections in Russia, Japan, the USA, England, Germany, and Norway.
