Valery Taganovich Sakhatov (born 1947) is an artist. In 1971, he graduated from the Art and Graphics Faculty of the Khabarovsk Pedagogical Institute, where he later taught drawing. He has been a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR since 1982. He has participated in numerous exhibitions. His works are in the collection of the Lehmbruck Museum (Duisburg, Germany), as well as in museum and private collections in Russia, Germany, Austria, France, the USA, Canada, Italy, South Korea, Israel, Belgium, Switzerland, and Japan.
