Viktor Nikolaevich Razgulin is an artist working in a primitive style, combining the traditions of Gorodets painting with the influence of the French school (Matisse). He graduated from the V. A. Serov Art School in St. Petersburg. He has been a member of the Union of Artists since 1982. An active participant in exhibitions, he has held over 15 solo shows. In 2003, he was awarded a silver medal by the Russian Academy of Arts, and since 2011, he has been a full member of the Academy. His works are represented in the collections of the Tretyakov Gallery, the Russian Museum, and private collections.
