Nikolai Fedorovich Novikov (born 1922) is a painter and People's Artist of Russia (1980). He graduated from the Surikov Moscow State Art Institute in 1949, where he studied under I. E. Grabar, S. V. Gerasimov, N. Kh. Maksimov, and P. P. Konchalovsky. He has been a member of the Moscow Union of Artists since 1949 and has held various positions within the Artists' Union of Russia and the Moscow Union of Artists. He works in the genres of portraiture, thematic painting, and landscape. His works are held in the Radishchev Saratov State Art Museum, the Almaty Art Gallery, the Tatar Museum of Fine Arts, and private collections in Russia, Japan, France, and Germany.
