Johann Eduard Müller (1828–1895) was a prominent German sculptor. He studied in Antwerp and worked in Rome from 1857. He created numerous ideal statues and sculptural groups, including 'Satyr with a Tragic Mask' (1870), 'Frightened Nymph', 'Eve with Children' (1877), and the colossal marble group 'Prometheus and the Oceanids' (1874–1879), which is held in the Berlin National Gallery.
