Alexandra Iosifovna Ligacheva was a Moscow artist and a member of the USSR Union of Artists. She lived and worked in Moscow on Verkhnyaya Maslovka and was an active participant in Moscow, republican, and all-Union exhibitions. Her creative legacy is dominated by portraits, still lifes, and landscapes (Uzbekistan, Lake Baikal, Uglich, Tarusa, Moscow region), as well as a series of paintings depicting Parisian cathedrals. Her work is characterized by lyricism and deep psychological insight. Her works are held in the Ivanovo Regional Art Museum, the Krasnoarmeysk Art Gallery, the 'Soyuz Tvorchestvo' gallery, and private collections.
