Vasily Panfilovich Kurmanayevsky (1894–1962) was a painter. In 1913, he entered the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture, where he studied under K.A. Korovin, A.E. Arkhipov, N.A. Kasatkin, and A.M. Vasnetsov. From the 1920s, he actively participated in exhibitions organized by 'Zhar-Tsvet', the Association of Traveling Art Exhibitions (TPKhV), the Society of Moscow School Artists, and the Moscow Union of Soviet Artists. He was a member of AKhRR. His works are held in museum and private collections in Russia and abroad.
