Vladimir Pavlovich Krants (1913–2003) was a Soviet painter, landscape artist, and member of the St. Petersburg Union of Artists. He graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at the Leningrad Institute of Municipal Construction Engineers in 1940. From 1947, he studied at the studio of S. G. Nevelshtein. Starting in 1958, he participated in exhibitions and gained recognition in the 1970s as a master of lyrical landscape. He painted the surroundings of Leningrad, traveled to the Urals and Lake Baikal, and worked at the 'Academicheskaya Dacha' and Staraya Ladoga creative retreats. He became a member of the Leningrad Union of Artists in 1972. His works are held in museum and private collections in Russia and abroad.
