Vladimir Alexandrovich Igoshev (1921–2007) was a painter, People's Artist of the USSR, and laureate of the I. E. Repin State Prize of the RSFSR. He was a veteran of the Great Patriotic War. From 1944 to 1950, he studied at the V. I. Surikov Moscow State Art Institute under G. M. Ryazhsky, D. K. Mochalsky, and V. V. Pochitalov. From the 1950s, he lived and worked in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, dedicating a significant part of his work to the landscapes of this region. His works are held in the collections of the State Tretyakov Gallery and the State Russian Museum.
