Harry Rudolfovich Frentz (1926–1987) was an Honored Artist of the RSFSR. He graduated from the Repin Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture in 1953 (under M. I. Avilov) with his diploma work 'On Forest Roads'. He participated in all-Union and international exhibitions. His works are held in the collections of the State Russian Museum, the Museum of the History of Saint Petersburg, regional museums, and private collections.
