Evgeniya Mikhailovna Adamova was a Soviet painter and People's Artist of the Turkmen SSR (1964). She studied under A. I. Khvorostenko at the Ashgabat Art School (1935–1939) and under I. I. Cherinko. She was the author of thematic paintings depicting the life of the Turkmen people and portraits. Her works include "At Leisure" (1948), a portrait of Khaltach Saparkuliyeva (1955), "I Will Study After All!" (1957), and "Turkmen Mothers to the Motherland" (1967). The latter two were awarded the Magtymguly State Prize of the Turkmen SSR (1968). Her works are held in the Museum of Fine Arts of the Turkmen SSR (Ashgabat).
