Bragovsky Eduard Georgievich

Eduard Georgievich Bragovsky was a People's Artist of Russia, Honored Artist of the RSFSR, laureate of the State Prize of the Russian Federation, and a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Arts. He studied in Vilnius under A. M. Gudaitis (1946–1947) and at the V. I. Surikov Moscow State Art Institute under V. V. Pochitalov, V. G. Tsyplakov, V. K. Nechitailo, P. I. Kotov, and P. V. Malkov (1947–1953). The artist's works are held in the collections of the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, and other museums across Russia and the CIS.
