Shegal Elena Grigoryevna

Elena Grigoryevna Shegal was a Soviet painter and the daughter of artist G. M. Shegal. She graduated from the Surikov Moscow State Art Institute in 1949, having studied in the workshop of S. V. Gerasimov. She became a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR in 1949 and participated in exhibitions from 1949 to 1978. Her works are held in the collections of the Bakhrushin Theatre Museum, the Bolshoi Theatre Museum, and art museums in Bryansk, Kamyshin, Cheboksary, and Vladimir.
