Polienko Ivan Alekseevich

Ivan Alekseevich Polienko is a painter, Honored Artist of Russia, and Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Arts. He graduated from the V. I. Surikov Moscow State Art Institute in 1982. He is a laureate of the Moscow City Prize in Literature and the Arts (2002) and has participated in numerous exhibitions since 1980. Polienko's painting combines realistic tradition with a deep emotional interpretation of the urban landscape. His works are held in museums and private collections in Russia and abroad.
