Papikyan Albert Stepanovich

Albert Stepanovich Papikyan (1926–1997) was a Soviet and Russian painter, People's Artist of the RSFSR, and a full member of the Russian Academy of Arts. He graduated from the I. E. Repin Leningrad Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture (B. V. Ioganson's workshop). He is the author of the diploma work "Stakhanovites of Sevanstroy." His works are represented in the collections of the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, and other major Russian museums.
