The 'Illustrated Technical Dictionary' is the encyclopedia 'Industry and Technology,' published in St. Petersburg by the Prosveshcheniye publishing house. It is a complete translation of the German edition, edited by V.V. Ewald, a professor at the Institute of Civil Engineers. The publication covers the development of various branches of industry and technology at the beginning of the 20th century, including construction, physical technology, electricity, agriculture, mining, metallurgy, transport, and aviation. The work contains 7,000 illustrations, 100 chromolithographs, maps, and engravings.
