Letopisnoye Povestvovaniye O Maloy Rossii

A chronicle narrative about Little Russia, its people, and the Cossacks in general, detailing their origins and the reasons for their current settlements, including the Cherkasy or Little Russian and Zaporozhian Cossacks, and from them the Don, Yaik (now Ural), Greben, Siberian, Volga, Terek, Nekrasov, and other Cossacks, as well as the Sloboda regiments. Collected and compiled based on the works of Major General of Engineers and Cavalier Alexander Rigelman in 1785–1786.
