Kholodilina Elena Nikolaevna

Elena Nikolaevna Kholodilina (born 1932) is an artist and a member of the Union of Artists since 1967. She graduated from the Kharkov Art School and the V. I. Surikov Institute. She is the spouse of Nikolai Arkadyevich Plastov. Landscape became the main genre of her work. Stylistically, her paintings are close to those of S. Yu. Zhukovsky, L. V. Turzhansky, and P. I. Petrovichev, characterized by their poetic quality and focus on the inherent value of the brushstroke. Her works are held in museum collections across Russia and the CIS.
