Frentz Vladimir Rudolfovich

Vladimir Rudolfovich Frentz (1937–1986) was a Russian Soviet painter and graphic artist, and a member of the Leningrad Union of Artists. He came from the Frentz family of artists. He graduated from the Repin Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture (1961) under E. E. Moiseenko. He painted landscapes, genre scenes, and portraits, with a particular focus on the nature and people of Kamchatka, Siberia, and the Far East. He participated in numerous exhibitions starting in 1959. His works are held in the Russian Museum and other museum and private collections.
