Boim Solomon Samsonovich

1899 — 1978
Solomon Samsonovich Boim (1899–1978) was a graphic artist and painter. From 1922 to 1929, he studied at Vkhutemas-Vkhutein under N.N. Kupriyanov, P.N. Lvov, and P.V. Miturich. Starting in 1929, he worked as a book illustrator for Detgiz and other publishers. During the Great Patriotic War, he served as the chief artist for the Political Department of the Baltic Fleet. He taught at the Moscow Art Institute and the Moscow Regional Art Pedagogical School in memory of 1905.
