Boim Rakhil Solomonovna

Rakhil Solomonovna Boim is an artist born in Moscow into the family of artist Solomon Boim. She graduated from the Moscow Secondary Art School (1949) and the Graphic Faculty of the Surikov Moscow State Art Institute (1953). She has been a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR since 1957 and an Honored Artist of Russia (2002). She has participated in numerous exhibitions since 1952. Since 1971, she has actively collaborated with a group of watercolorists. She is the author of watercolor series dedicated to her travels in Altai, Karelia, the Far East, Turkmenistan, and other regions. Her works are held in museum collections in Ashgabat, Bishkek, Lviv, Tyumen, Novokuznetsk, Vladivostok, and other cities.
